The genogram project seeks to reduce stigma through the psychoeducation of Family Systems Theory and genograms to Muslim communities. This happens through a lecture and discussion format. Subsequently, the opportunity to have one's own family's genogram is offered with complete confidentiality. The aggregate data is used to help discern what services the community could best use to address the needs of the particular community studied.
